Hey there, sunshine! Thank you for joining me in another blog post! I really hope you’re enjoying them as much as I’m enjoying writing them!
Writing is a form of self care for me. When I’m writing these blogs, I write about topics that make me self reflect as I’m writing. I’m forced to stop and think! I’ve also learned new things about myself by doing this. Writing has been a very healing form of self care. My emotions come out in my poems, too. That’s why I’m not slowing down on my creating. It. Helps. Me. Heal.
In turn, as I’m learning and healing, my cup starts overflowing! I have to do something with all of that extra light and energy. That’s where YOU come in, sunshine! I have light and energy in abundance these days, so I’m shining brighter than I ever have – for you!

There are so many other forms of self care besides writing. Hygiene is the BIGGEST form of self care, in my opinion. Taking a shower or bath, brushing your hair and teeth, putting on lotion or moisturizer, shaving when needed.. they ALL make you feel so much better afterwards! Don’t you think so?
I want to give you a list of some great self care ideas, sunshine! Take a look and highlight the ones that pique your interest. Then choose one or two to do today.

As you can see from the list, there are many areas where self care needs to be tended to. Choose something from all of the categories or just choose from one, but do at least one of these things today and every day! You will thank yourself for it, sunshine!
